Celebration Cross Stitch Chart

The original painting by JC Leyendecker depicts two boys, one black and one white, celebrating the Fourth of July. The joyful scene, with the boys climbing a lamppost and an American flag prominently displayed, captures a sense of youthful exuberance and national pride. Leyendecker's characteristic attention to detail and realistic portrayal of human emotion are evident. The painting's depiction of interracial friendship during a time of racial segregation in the United States also adds a layer of social commentary. This was the cover of The Saturday Evening Post on July 3, 1937.

This design isa great size and contains so much detail. It is 321x400 stitches in size and contains 842 colors. This is a full coverage piece, so even the white is stitched.
