This piece was actually completed a couple weeks ago. I feel like I got to watch it getting done though each step. Brenda did this brilliant stitching. I did Zoom Stitch Along every week last year and Brenda came to those meetings, so I got weekly or bi-weekly look at this for the first 1/2 or 3/4 of it. It was an absolute pleasure to watch. Brenda is an awesome and talented stitcher. I feel so privileged to know her a little more than most of my clients.
So... this was an old image from the 1970's. The original wasn't super clear or crisp, but the goal was to stitch a comparable version of the original, so it still looked like an old image. I love it... absolutely love it.
