The Country Gentleman – The oldest agricultural journal in the world. This artwork by CRP was its cover on June 20, 1914. This big bright Holstein is so distinguished that the artwork doesn’t appear to have aged at all. The coloring is perfect, and it looks like they could have created it yesterday. It wasn’t though; they created it when technology for art was not at all the same and that makes it just extraordinary.
This chart is 228 x 283 stitches, you’ll want to add some extra fabric on the bottom and right though to offset for the horns that extend beyond the image frame. The background beyond the stitched frame was removed, so your fabric will be visible at top and edges, so you’ll want to be conscience of the color used. There are 75 colors in this chart.
