There is art that sometimes I get it and it’s just so amazing. I feel like my skills are less than needed to give the piece its justice. This might be one of those pieces, so removing black and stitching only the colors of a piece is one of my favorite types of charts. It’s less stitching and they turn out beautiful.
Here is the opposite piece. In this piece, I’ve removed the stitching for the white. That’s right! Do not stitch the white.
This owl piece, I’m calling Who Who and I don’t know why. I just love it though.
This chart is 300 x 261 stitches. It contains 61 colors.
I mocked it up on black to show you better the stitched area.
The original artwork is by Christopher Chamberlain. It’s been sitting in my “in file” for over a year waiting for me to work on it. I really think this version is the way to do it. I hope you love it.
