I’ll be honest, this wasn’t my favorite of the Norman Rockwell – The Saturday Evening Post artwork. In fact, I was slow to work with this image if you haven’t noticed. There are other ones that I had in front and some that I worked on and then moved to the pile again because they aren’t working as easily as I had thought.
Well, this one came up and I absolutely love it after all. This piece is simple, yet detailed. The colors are a bit weird in places, but they represent the artwork well and honestly, I love them. I think you will too.
This piece is by Norman Rockwell for The Saturday Evening Post. It was first published on November 16, 1935. It is officially titled “Autumn Stroll” although when I searched for it. It was also found using the title “A Walk in the Country”.
The chart is 258×335 stitches and contains 75 colors. The background is removed, including inside the circle area.
The smoke from the pipe is there though and gives a really great effect. You’ll love the details like all the pieces by this artist show and the era.
