I honestly do not know why, but my kindergarten student is obsessed with George Washington. So, from his obsession, we’ve been reading every book we can and researching all about him. From my son’s inspiration, I made this cross stitch chart of George Washington. It’s full stitch and the primary color is actually thread 939 which is a navy blue (really dark though). The detailing in his skin is so clean though. I love this chart.
This is 135×175 stitches and contains exactly 50 colors. It is full stitch, so the background is stitched. It can be stitched on any size fabric. I suggest using extra strand from normal use though because the dark colors primarily will allow fabric to show through sometimes.
