Rotor Blades Cross Stitch Chart for Dark Fabric

I love working with shadows and sort of dark designs. This isn’t one of them but in this chart. You’ll stitch only the sky leaving the shadow of one of our brave marines. This whole chart is 200×113, but I left about 30 rows across the bottom completely blank. You’ll want that fabric to complete the look of the aircraft. It won’t look correct without it. You’ll want to use dark blue navy like this example image or black fabric for this piece to look right.

The original photo used here is in the public domain. Here are the details about it. I love how specific it is. Marine Corps Sgt. Hunter Madison inspects the main rotor of an AH-1Z Viper helicopter during a pre-flight inspection at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 12, 2018. Madison is an avionics technician assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Training Squadron 303, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Dylan Chagnon

Here is what the actual stitched area will look like… so you can see why you’ll need the dark fabric.

A cross stitch pattern with the words advanced cross stitch.
