With a large stature and distinctly primitive looks, the Alano Espanol is perfect for the people with dog handling experience. They make excellent companions. They are incredibly hard workers and were bred to work in rugged conditions, so the weather has little effect on them. They nearly went extinct less than 100 years ago.
